SDTechnologist is a global software and AI agency building custom digital products for businesses across the UK, EU, USA and Canada that have outgrown generic tools and off-the-shelf solutions and are serious about long-term growth. Our UK entity is registered in England & Wales under Companies House number 16262751 a real, accountable entity with full legal standing.
We operate with a founder-led team across the UK, EU, USA and Canada, supported by a vetted network of senior specialists, giving clients the accountability of a close-knit team with the technical depth of a much larger operation.
Day to day, we design and build custom software, automate processes with AI, develop web & mobile apps, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, always as one team, end to end, with no handoffs between vendors.
Our story
How we started
Founded in Dubai in 2017 after seeing the same problem repeat across business after business, companies investing in software built for someone else’s workflow, handed over broken, or abandoned the moment the invoice was paid. We started SDTechnologist to offer what the market was missing: honest scoping, real technical depth, and a team that stays accountable long after launch. By 2019 we had expanded into the USA, Canada, EU and UK, delivering for clients across every region. In 2025 we added a UK-registered entity to serve the UK and EU directly, with full legal accountability, alongside our ongoing operations across the USA and Canada.

Sheikh Muhammad Amin founded SDTechnologist in Dubai in 2017 after spotting a consistent gap, businesses underserved by agencies that prioritised winning contracts over delivering results. He leads strategy, client relationships and technical oversight, making sure every project is scoped honestly and delivered to the standard he built the company around. He’s based in the UK and works directly with clients across all five service areas.
Behind every project is a senior team led from the UK. Rather than keeping a fixed headcount regardless of demand, we work with a vetted network of senior specialists brought in for their specific expertise, so your project is built by people who are genuinely the right fit, not whoever happens to be free.
