Roomly is a mobile application designed to connect tenants and landlords efficiently. It simplifies the process of finding rental properties by offering a smart matching system based on user preferences. The platform enhances the rental experience by ensuring users see only the most relevant listings, reducing time and effort.
Project Scope
SDTechnologist worked closely with Roomly to develop a structured and intuitive user experience that effectively caters to two primary user types:

Landlords – Property owners or individuals searching for tenants or roommates.
The goal was to create a seamless experience where users could quickly find and connect with the right matches. We designed an interactive feed that filters and displays relevant listings based on user preferences, ensuring a smooth and efficient search process.
Challenges & Solutions
Challenge: Creating a user-friendly experience for different user groups.
Solution: We developed a structured onboarding process where users input key details such as age, gender, interests, and property preferences. This information powers the app’s matching algorithm, ensuring relevant results.
Challenge: Ensuring a quick and efficient rental search.
Solution: We built a swipe-based matching system that allows Roommates to browse available properties quickly. Landlords receive notifications when potential tenants show interest, allowing for fast communication.
Challenge: Providing a modern and engaging interface.
Solution: Our UX/UI design team crafted a clean and youthful interface using Figma and Adobe tools. The design ensures an intuitive and visually appealing experience.
